The final video with pictures to come with the melody will be released when voting is open up in January. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, a genuine variety of MHS students, alumni, and staff collaborated to create a mini-masterpiece in the hopes of winning a contest that could indicate a huge jump in technology for our library media center.

A masterpiece of design as well as ‘heart,’ it is the story of the transformation of our MHS Library Media Center and its own change to 21st Century Digital Learning informed in track. What the questions seem to omit is the place to adequately tell the story plot of the immeasurable, of the heart of who we are – which involves personal connections with personnel and students. AFTER I contacted her about writing a parody, she was the first to offer help.

A few are from our marketing course and just happen to be CSA Community School of the Arts products from enough time they were little. Thanks to another essential area of the Fitness Marshall team also, Haley Jordan, who emerged in to give us our first tips in using the gear. Teacher Mike Robertson took extra time viewing ‘how-to’ videos on the use of the new camera making sure it was all set.

The HOURS of work that proceeded to go into the making of the video are measurable, but the HEART that proceeded to go involved with it is not. During the pressure of finals week, working around documents and checks, students did take after trying to get it just right willingly. MHS Alumni (and daughter, ) Regan Reese, helped me (on more than one wintry night) in the writing process, as did MHS students, Liz Kelsay and Sophie Orrell.

Regan took her lunch hour to come in and record the soprano part. Finally, one more special thanks – to your Follett Representative, Sharon Well, that has put her heart into guiding me through this task, through countless emails and phone calls. What makes our library media center extraordinary is that it’s become a center for collaboration and skills that exceed a typical assignment. The Follett Challenge is a contest which includes a video and a lengthy software of 3100 words.
